And The Winning Hand Was....

After Dustin Surratt, son of Al Surratt, took third, Dennis Doble and Nate Green (upper left) went head to head in a very exciting showdown!  After one nail biting, heart racing "split pot", the blinds went up to 4,000 and 8,000.  Nate went "all in" in the dark with 4,000.00.  Dennis (below right)  called " in the dark" and Eric, the dealer started turning the cards face up.  Nate was dealt a Jack-S  and a 6-C, Dennis was dealt a 9-S and 7-D.  The "Flop" was an 8-S, Ace-S and Queen-D. This puts Nate slightly ahead with an over card and an outside chance of a flush draw with the highest spade. The "Turn" was a King-H, with no significant improvement to either hand.  We all held our breath as Eric turned over the "River", a 9-H! Dennis Doble wins with a pair of nines, the only pair on the board...
and he caught it on the river!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
