It is with a heavy heart, that we bring you this news. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no more No Buy-In Texas Hold Em live tournaments. The final venue that hosted us, Roadhouse, has made the decision that the lack of attendance and financial support, by enough players on a regular and consistent basis, has led them to the decision to cancel our games at their establishment. While there have been many players who have loyally attended and supported these games and our league non-stop for a number of years, apparently there were not enough to keep us going. Jimmy and I have been operating this league at a financial loss for several months in an attempt to continue to provide this entertainment. I have been looking back over the years to all that has happened, both good and not so good, to our group of friends and players, and it makes me cry to think that it is ending. Jimmy and I want to thank you with all of our hearts for the support that you have given us, and please know that we did all that we could to keep going for as long as we could. In spite of our efforts to come to an agreement with Ron to complete our session commitment to you, he could or would not budge. While we are grateful to the Roadhouse for hosting our games for so many years, we feel very strongly that it is not fair to you to simply end mid-session. What we have decided to do, is continue our online games until February 2nd, adding a Saturday night tournament, and take the top 10 players from this session, host a tournament in our home, and buy the winner into 3 of our continuing home games. We will continue our once a month home games (the second Friday or Saturday of each month, as well as our weekly quarter games on Sunday). Again, for those of you who have stuck with us through thick and thin, we are grateful. We hope to continue to stay in touch with all of you through our home games. We had a GREAT run, thanks to ALL of you who participated in the fun!
